A lot of people seem to love visiting West Sussex because there’s so many touristy options (apparently) and everyone seems to think it’s all nice and dainty.

It’s pretty much known for being surrounded by fields and I guess that can be nice if you’re not used to so much grass, but when you’re surrounded by it 24/7 it can become pretty annoying.

Here’s what you’ll only know if you grew up in West Sussex.

1. If you meet anyone from outside of West Sussex, there’s no hope in explaining where you live.

2. So you pretty much opt for, ‘Oh about an hour and thirty minutes from London.’

3. The only decent shops around are New Look and Top Shop.

4. And they’re probably the smallest versions of the shops around.

No matter your age, cake is ALWAYS something to be excited about.

But restrictive diets, occasional appearance vs taste disappointment, and general age has meant that as we get older, we rarely scream with joy and violently shove our face into icing whenever we see a good cake.

And that is a crying shame.

Let’s all take a moment to recapture the true wonder of trying cake for the first time.
