Turns out cats are really scared of cucumbers
Just a few months ago, we shared the story of one poor cat being harassed by a cucumber. It was devastating. And hilarious.
But it turns out that cat hadn’t once had a traumatic experience with vegetables. ALL cats, it appears, are scared of cucumbers.
It’s officially their Kryptonite, as noticed by the Reddit thread dedicated to cucumbers scaring cats.
Here’s how it works. Find a cat distracted by food or a toy. Place a cucumber behind it. Observe as the cat notices the cucumber and freaks the f*** out.
The trick also works with courgettes, thanks to their cucumber-like appearance.
To cats, cucumbers are devices of horror.
