Little Yellow Door’s Friday night dinner parties are good for food, just OK for fun
Tucked away in Notting Hill there’s a Little Yellow Door, and behind it a quaint abode offering guests the chance to enjoy the culinary offerings of the ‘housemates’ who live there.
Pitched as an interactive dining experience, where it’s more like having dinner at your mate’s house than sitting in a restaurant, I was invited down to one of their Friday night dinner parties to see just what this West London flatshare had to offer.
On arrival my friend and I were sat on a table with some girls, who didn’t talk to us the whole time we were there. Considering the place prides itself on guests ‘arriving with three friends and leaving with ten’ it was a little disappointing that there wasn’t much chat around the table, but as they were a bit basic we probably weren’t missing out on any scintillating conversation.

This yogurt ad featuring lesbian couple is causing a hoo-ha online
A lesbian eating yogurt! Can you chuffing believe it?
American yogurt company Chobani are causing a bit of a hoo-ha with their latest advert, due to the fact it features a lesbian couple.
The advert begins with a woman, in bed, eating a yogurt in a laughably seductive fashion. After scraping the pot clean (no, that’s not a euphemism), she tickles the foot of her bedfellow.
But as the camera pans round, her partner is revealed not to be a man, but a WOMAN.
*GASP*
Unsurprisingly, opinion online is pretty split as to whether this is beautiful and wonderful, or the devil’s work.
Obviously some very angry people are very angry…
