9 things you know if you don’t give the vaguest f*ck about Back To The Future
OHDEARGODSHUTTHEF*CKUP.
1. ‘Back To The Future Day’ is NOT a thing. People who are going round saying ‘Happy Back To The Future Day’ should be cast out from society.
2. The film wasn’t even that great. I saw it once and thought it was meh.
3. In fact, there were clearly about eight million better films made in the 80s (no, we’re not going to name them all, but we all know it’s true).
4. Any chance of us giving a f*ck was killed by the fact that the build-up started about 18 months ago.
5. The whole thing has just turned into one massive marketing opportunity for not-quite-right faux-products that we don’t actually want or need.
6. Hoverboards look shit, and those Segway things everyone’s losing their minds over aren’t hoverboards because they have wheels.
7. If you have two working hands you don’t need self-tying shoe laces.
8. And anyway, isn’t that just Velcro?

Sainsbury’s criticised for placing ‘modesty cover’ over gay lifestyle magazine but not FHM

This apparent bias was highlighted when twitter user Jon Rowles tweeted a picture of the magazine rack in Sainsbury’s Mid City Place branch in Holborn, London, along with the comment, ‘Why I don’t shop @sainsburys anymore. Naked women OK but @AttitudeMag Pride Hero’s cover indecent.’
Furthermore, whilst the FHM cover in question features a bikini-clad woman, everyone on the cover of August’s Attitude magazine (which happens to be their Pride Heroes edition) is fully clothed.
Talking to Pink News, Mr Rowles explained: ‘What struck me was how it made the publication look… Read the full story http://ift.tt/1JRdpU8 July 09, 2015 at 01:32PM

The New York Times suggested people add peas to their guacamole… it didn’t go down too well
Why would you mess with the guac, guys?
It’s not often that the President of America tweets about a recipe, but yesterday was no ordinary situation.
In a moment of pure madness the internationally renowned and respected paper The New York Times caused chaos on twitter when they tried to mess with the institution that is guacamole.
Their controversial tweet – which was accompanied by a picture of a bowl of vivid green guacamole and chips adorned with peas and sunflower seeds – read, ‘Add green peas to your guacamole. Trust us.’… and then all hell broke loose.
The reaction was strong and immediate.
