We’ve all wondered what exactly happens to our bags once we’ve checked them in – especially when they emerge worse for wear (as in broken, not drunk), or even worse, not at all.

And now, thanks to some pretty amazing footage from Amsterdam’s Schipol airport, we know.

While you’re buying things you don’t need in duty free and having too-early beers in the airport bar, your bag is having the ride of its life on the best roller coaster EVER.

We never imagined we’d be jealous of a suitcase, but we can’t lie, this video has just about done it.
